Born on 21st April, 1949, in Imphal, Manipur.
Obtained B. A. Degree from Calcutta University and LL.B. from Delhi University in the year 1974.
Was the Secretary of the North East Unit of All India Bar Association, New Delhi.
Held the Office of the Advocate General of the State of Manipur during the periods
from 09-06-1995 to 16-12-1997, 02-04-2001 to 22-05-2001, 01-06-2001 to 11-03-2002
and from 10-12-2004 till his elevation as an Additional Judge of
the Gauhati High Court on 26-09-2007.
Assumed charge of the office of the Judge of the Gauhati High Court
(High Court of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh)
on 5th April, 2011 and laid down the office of the Judge on 21st April, 2011.
